We strive to develop our members as leaders through service to others. This builds the leadership skills of our brothers while fulfilling a need on campuses and in communities, therefore leaving a lasting impact on our nation. Brothers also have the chance to participate in a variety of leadership development programs sponsored by Alpha Phi Omega. There are plenty of ways to get involved and become a better leader; come out and see for yourself!
FRIENDSHIP.
Through connecting and communicating with others through service fosters strong, long-lasting friendships. There are many fun activities organized for the entire chapter to enjoy: a variety of services events on campus and within the Reno community, inter-chapter events, banquets, retreat trips, and much more! It is our mission to cultivate meaningful relationships and a welcoming atmosphere to all.
sERVICE.
As the largest collegiate service organization, the work of its chapters since 1925 has had significant impacts on individuals, campuses and communities for decades. Each year, APO brothers record more than 1 million hours of service, and this number continues to grow because of APO’s devoted membership. Our chapter provides many service hours each semester with a diverse range of service opportunities, and are open to new ideas and events!
